AFMSCME Council 5 represents more than 43,000 workers throughout Minnesota who work to advocate for excellence in services for the public, dignity in the workplace, and opportunity and prosperity for all workers. As a public employee, Mark understands the importance of standing together to create a strong, safe, and vibrant workforce.

A doctor at Mayo Clinic and a former school board member, Senator Matt Klein represents South St. Paul in the Minnesota Legislature and understands the issues that are facing residents of our community.

The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) represents more than 13,000 skilled construction and general laborers throughout Minnesota and North Dakota who build roads and bridges, schools, and hospitals, enhance energy systems, and operates Minnesota’s largest and most diverse skilled construction apprenticeship program.

The St. Paul Building Trades Council, a proud affiliate of the Minnesota Building & Construction Trades Council, represents over 50,000 dedicated unionized construction workers across our state. Their commitment to diversity and inclusion within the construction industry is noteworthy, particularly through their pre-apprenticeship training program established in 1998.

The Saint Paul Regional Labor Federation is a key part of the nation’s largest and strongest labor federation – the AFL-CIO. More than 50,000 union members from Dakota, Ramsey, Washington, and Chisago counties are part of this 100+ union affiliation.

The IBEW represents members and retirees who work in a wide variety of fields, including utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads, and government.

Union plumbers are skilled tradespeople who install, maintain, and repair piping systems that transport water, gas, and waste in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. For over 126 years the Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 34 has been working hard to ensure a high quality of life for it’s members and their families.
